We came home from this in Mexico...
To THIS in our kitchen.
This is a basket of fruit sitting atop our kitchen bar, which is 4.5 FEET HIGH.
Then, I thought about walking around taking pictures to document the copious amounts of mouse pee and poop all over the house, INCLUDING THE BEDROOM, but I stopped myself.
There was a mouse who got into Major's dog food in the garage last week, but we caught him mere minutes after setting a trap. Plus, it was the garage, not the house! I thought we were in the clear. Nope.
I am extremely girly.
I do not handle rodent infestation well.
Every movement... every time the fan blows my hair, every time my sleep pants graze my feet as I walk across the living room floor, it's "him" or worse- "them".
This is so sick. Pray that these little nasties like peanut butter because it's set in traps all over this house.

Oh no! I would be completely freaked out too. The thought of little critters in my house terrifies me. I hope it gets resolved soon for you!
ReplyDeleteOh no!! I am scared to death of mice. I am praying those nasty little creatures find another home fast!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is just GROSS. I absolutely despise mice - I can handle spiders, even little snakes, but not mice. We have had one or two run ins with little brown mice in our house, and I run around like a crazy woman, half-screaming, half-crying! So sorry that you had to come home to this from lovely Mexico!
ReplyDeleteHi Alyssa! My name is Genn, and I just found your blog through Sara's blog (Southern Comfort). You are such a beautiful girl. I just read through some of your posts and read about your proposal at Paula Deen's!! Oh my gosh, how cool is that. Congratulations. What a great story you have to tell. Best of luck planning your wedding.
ReplyDeleteHope you catch all those nasty varmints soon too!
Nice meeting ya in blogland. :)
