Got my hair cut - not chopped like Carrie. The second I left I wished I had just cut it more, but I'm such a sissy about change. Being in Tahoe half the week and coming home with 1200 lbs of laundry really set me back, so I didn't get the kids Valentine's baskets together in time.
So...we took a little trip to Target to pick out their V-day gifts. Hello my name is Alyssa and I am a s-l-a-c-k-e-r. But -truth be told, I think they would so much rather do that anyway!
Sunday night I made a pot roast and we had a romantic candle lit Valentine's dinner for 4.
And had our annual Valentine's photo sesh.
This last one seriously melts my heart. Carter made this sign for his bedroom door a while back, but it had to be documented. Such a sweetie pie.
It says (in 1st grader): Carter's Room. Private. No Girls Allowed. Only Alyssa.
Needless to say I cried.
I just found your blog and it's great! Beautiful family! And visiting Paula Deen? Heaven! My girls (7 and 4) even watch Paula with me! My sis just moved to Savannah, and I am very excited about getting down there!
