I was given a blog award the week before my wedding, and:
a) hadn't been checking the blog email account
b) was in total wedding chaos and then dropped off the map for a month
So, imagine my surprise when I saw that I'd been tagged in this award! It has encourages me to pick up blogging again (this time for real) because I see that there are people actually following along out there. Thank you to my sweet new friend at Recession is the New Blonde !
I'm supposed to share 7 random facts about myself and tag 15 other bloggers. Here we go...
1. I typically fall asleep within a minute of my head hitting the pillow. It's a gift.
2. I waste about 5 minutes complaining every time I have to blow my hair dry. But - I can never bring myself to cut it!
3. I was born and raised in Texas, but have always wanted to live somewhere else, just for a year or so.
4. That being said, I've spent a lot of time in NYC (months at a time) and I would consider it my favorite place on earth.
5. I stress bake. Helps every time.
6. I started Crossfit in February and LOVE it. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I am hooked.
7. I hate clutter. With a husband and two step kids I am constantly chasing them around picking up clutter (keys, mail, shoes, nerf guns, barbies, etc). Ideally, everything is tucked away with the kitchen counters wiped down before I can even think about going to bed.

3. I do not talk on my cell phone between 6-8pm.
4. I have fake flowers in my front yard,
planted in my garden and I water them so the
neighbors will not figure out they are fake.
5. I hate the way newspaper and the rain feels
on my skin.
6. I can dead lift 215lbs.
7. I have an obsession with FB and think I need
to delete the app off my phone, but I am not
ready for the break up yet. :-/
