{She was so right}
(notice the father-son high five?)
I haven't received my professional pictures, so once I do I will be sure to post more.
We are obviously over the moon. As most of you know, I became both a wife and a step mom in one day, which just added to the excitement and joy we both felt.
We live in Houston but got married in Austin, so most all of our family had to travel from Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, etc. I just keep thinking about all of the people it took to make this happen for us. How can you ever thank the friends and family who supported you every step of the way...who stuffed gift bags, folded programs, and pro-conned Italian cream vs. red velvet with you until the wee hours of the night? (You know who you are!) My Dad keeps telling me "It goes with the turf." Even so, we both can't help but be overwhelmed by the love we felt from those friends and family in the days leading to and on our wedding day.
I have a long list of posts that I can't wait to write. I want to make sure and document all of the little details so I have them to look back on. Until then, Happy Weekend!

You were a stunning bride! Congratulations to you on becoming a Mrs! Can't wait to see more pictures when you get them.
