Proposal Video!!

I thought about keeping this private for just us to watch over and over and over! But - considering that there were 300 people in attendance, many of whom recorded this on their iPhones, I figured I'd go ahead and post it.

So ALL of my life, people have struggled with my name. I get Larissa, Melissa, Ashley, Allison, Alicia, Alysha...you name it and I've heard it. It took Paula about 3 tries to get it. So hilarious!

Secondly, I'm so embarrassed that I said "Is this real? Are we like on TV or something?" Wow Alyssa - great way to follow the world's best proposal. Ha! Needless to say I was in a total state of shock.

The whole thing was such a blur! There are so many details I had forgotten about until I saw this. For example...

Paula said that Ryan must have gotten me from "Helen Keller School of the Blind" - giving him a hard time saying I must not know what he looks like. Ha!

Ryan forgot his "because I don't have a ring" line, and Paula had to drag him to the side to remind him of the plan.

I kept turning around to Brandon (Paula's assistant) demanding that he tell me what was happening. He just laughed and said "turn around!" over and over.

I was flanked by both of Paula's sons, her niece, and her brother. If you love the Deens, you'll be able to spot them in the background. :)

I look totally unemotional at the end. I'm a VERY expressive gal, but my face was basically blank the whole time! Very deer-in-the-headlights.
