I know I'm a little biased, but...

I read Paula's book "It Ain't All About The Cookin" in a day and a half, and I *LOVED* it!

I absolutely love her story - which included some revelations I never expected from my sweet little grandmother-like Paula. Among the many surprises, she curses like a sailor and smokes [shame!]...but never on TV, of course.

I think any strong southern woman will absolutely relate to her life - she overcame a 30+ year battle with agoraphobia, a marriage to a man who constantly told her "you're an idiot" and the death of her parents at a young age...all with a sense of humor and a love for cooking.

Also - This is a story which proves that staying positive, keeping the faith, and turning lemons into lemonade will always, always pay off in the long run.

*LOVE HER*

I may have even joined twitter just to follow her tweets.  Just maybe.

  1. Now I feel like a blog stalker, but I just came across this post and I was BEYOND shocked about her being a smoker! But, I met her last year at an even in Ohio and could smell it on her. Disappointing. But then again I guess we all have our vices :) She is still wonderful!
